New purchases

I can't believe my last post was over 2 months ago! I have been so busy recently, however I want to dedicate more time to my blog so I should be able to post a lot more often.

I have recently come back from a family vacation to a small village called Broadway in the Cotswolds. It's so beautiful and picturesque. We have a small piece of land there with an old army chalet where we camp inside. It's very basic conditions but still great to get away every year!

Plymouth 10k

Just a quick post in the mean time... I have lots of blog posts to do now I have finished college and have more time on my hands so keep checking back!

In an attempt to keep working on my fitness and to raise some money for an amazing charity, I have signed up to complete the Plymouth 10k for the second year running. Last year I raised nearly £200 for Cancer Research UK, and have chose to support the Stroke Association this year as it's a personal charity for me. In July it will have been a year that my Nan suffered from a stroke, and in August it will have been a year since she passed away. Therefore I feel really strongly for raising money for this charity, to help carers and survivors to get the support they need. I'm trying to raise £79 as the run is on the 3rd November and it would have been my Nan's 79th birthday on the 4th. I'm already half way there so if you could donate, even just a couple of pounds, I would be ever so grateful!

1. i'm currently at college studying a business diploma
2. i used to horse ride for 5-6 years but had to stop due to financial commitments, however i'm hoping to take it up again soon
3. i have two dogs called tess and millie and i used to have a tortoise called felix!

5. i have a huuuuge obsession with jake bugg and i have tickets to see him in october!
6. i used to be a vegetarian for many years, then switched back to meat, and now i only eat chicken
7. i've been with my boyfriend for 2 years in june
8. i currently work in a mortgage broker as a receptionist
9. my most favourite purchase ever is my ipad - i am always on it!
10. i have been every single hair colour - blonde, platinum, grey (by mistake!), purple, black, brown, plum, ginger, and am now honey blonde

5. favourite food? pickled onion monster munch gets me every time but is bad for the diet!

7. countryside or the city? i live in the city but i've always loved the countryside more
8. favourite film? i don't have a favourite of all time, but my current favourite has to be despicable me, i can't wait for the second film to come out in july!

1. cloud print embroidered quilted jacket from river island (£40) this jacket is perfect for summer evenings when it gets a bit chillier and you need something to put over your shoulders.
2. tan crossbody bag from topshop (£40) this bag is perfect for festivals and taking on holiday as it will fit all the essentials.
3. pink floral lace shorts from new look (£16.99) these shorts are so pretty and feminine, and are ideal for a beach cover up.
4. orange large zip around purse by fiorelli (£24) i've been looking for a new purse for a while and i really like the simplicity and how expensive it looks.
5. frenchie sweater from j.crew (£84.66) this is super cute and i am obsessed with frenchies right now! unfortunately it was so popular it's now sold out.
6. leather watch with hummingbird face from olivia burton at asos (£62) i fell in love with this watch as soon as i saw it! unfortunately this is also now sold out.
7. new dairy milk marvellous creations (£2.49) cadbury have brought out a new range of chocolate and i can't wait to try some, especially the cookie nut crunch! yum.
8. konnie cage cut out shoes from topshop (£42) these sandals are super cute and remind me of my childhood! i predict them being really popular this summer!
9. black pinafore mini dress from river island (£20) pinafores are majorly in at the moment and i really love this one with the clip fastened straps.

for my first post, i'd thought i'd write a little bit about myself! my name's emma, but i prefer to be called em. i'm 19 from plymouth in devon. i'm currently studying towards a business diploma at college whilst working as a receptionist in a mortgage brokers office. when i've finished college i hope to go to university to study business management. i've always wanted to start a blog, but i haven't had the time due to school, work or personal commitments. however i hope to publish fashion and beauty posts, as well as other things such as wants, cute things and yummy food! thanks for reading and i hope you enjoy my blog!
